2023 Music Line up
Somewhere in the mix of all that great charity work, good brew and spicy grub courtesy of our amazing hot sauce vendors, we have to lay down a soundtrack to capture the emotion and spirit of the day. That’s where music comes into the fold.
We aim to deliver a killer lineup you'll likely never see again on Long Beach Island — comprised of new, notable and original music artists who draw their own lines and impact music fans on national and even international levels. That’s why each year we also find a standout local artist to showcase on our Main Stage. As we grow, we hope our artistic community grows with it.
Zach Person
American recording artist, Zach Person, is the new face of indie rock. Emerging out of Austin, Texas, Person plays loud, raw, and connects with his music fans on a primal sonic level. Person has a swagger, talent and grit beyond his years. With the poise of a seasoned veteran on stage and the stylings of a mega star, he commands an audience in seconds.
“Reminiscent of everyone from Elmore James and Duane Allman to The Black Keys and Jack White, Person channels a raw, pure-bred American swagger,” said American Songwriter. “Between the driving beat, Person’s fuzzed-out vocals and the layers of bombastic guitar parts, the tune shows off all the reasons that Buddy Guy once said of Person ‘What else can I say? The young man is hot!’”
His inspirations are varied, and include prolific artists like The Black Keys, Jack White, Chris Stapleton, Jonny Lang, Funkadelic, and Led Zeppelin. With his new project, Zach has created his own take on a contemporary hybrid of blues and rock music, arranged in a pop format.
Person’s self-titled, debut LP dropped on April 2, 2021 and garnered the attention of notable press including American Songwriter, Classic Rock Magazine, American Blues Scene, Guitar World, Premier Guitar and more.
The overall success of his LP, has led to additional collaborations with international brands like, Amazon, Kendra Scott, Soho House, Kimpton & Fairmont Hotels, and BMI.
Zach is currently touring in North America and Europe. Stay tuned as Zach will be releasing new music throughout the course of the year.

The Circa 68
The Circa 68 is about a feeling. It’s that driving fast with all the windows down listening to your favorite song feeling. It’s the lift of a great chorus feeling. It’s the sound of joy. It’s the smile from across a room. It’s as if The Killers, Weezer, Panic at the Disco, Fountains of Wayne, and the Foo Fighters all piled in a bus and went to see Cheap Trick. Born from Palladino’s love of hook-driven rock and roll, The Circa 68 is a celebration of the 3-minute pop song that hits hard and their live show is full of that energy. Palladino is no stranger to the stage, having fronted the roots rock band the Badlees for the past 30 years.

Dillon has worked with legends like Chuck D of Public Enemy, Diamond D & Dres from Black Sheep; and modern day hip hop heroes like Homeboy Sandman, Blu, Skyzoo & Supa Dave West.
His one-man live show is stuff of legend: a turntable, a projector, crudely overdubbed episodes of Beverly Hills 90210 & a panini press are just a part of his arsenal.
Dillon also runs a boutique record label called FULL PLATE that he started in 2013 with his partner in rhyme, Paten Locke (RIP). So far FULL PLATE has over 20 releases on vinyl, CD, cassette & digital. The label focuses on underground/Indy Hiphop + instrumental music.
