Clean water is a key part of our mission, and while we usually talk about it in terms of the marine environment we also stand behind groups who provide clean drinking water access.
Thanks to the crew at Jetty Ink for connecting us to Live Well Water prior to their upcoming trip to Northern Nicaragua. While in the design process for some new T's we were able to determine support for this small nonprofit working to bring clean water to relatively remote Nicaraguan villages. With $2500 from JRF (enough to provide 1000' of PVC piping), and some new T's to distribute, the Live Well Water crew headed to the Central American country last month to make an impact. As surfers who have traveled to this area, and others like it throughout the world, it is easy to see the need for work like that being done by Live Well Water.
